The internet mocks CNN's latest ad.
The last year has seen a number of stories which seem so ridiculous that they had me checking the date to see whether it was April 1st.
For example:
* Saudi Arabia elected by the UN to the women's rights commission.
* Robert Mugabe appointed as a World Health Organization goodwill ambassador.
* Thousands of 'women's rights activists' marching in support of child rapist defender Hillary Clinton.
But perhaps the most incredibly ridiculous story of them all, is CNN's latest ad lecturing people on fake news!!!
That's right, very fake news CNN, the masters at fake news and fake news by omission, have launched a condescending advert warning people about fake news!!!
As you can imagine the internet has responded with a series of memes and videos mocking CNN:
This first video parodies CNN's own ad, and shows a banana while the narrator tells us:
"This is an apple. Some people might try to tell you that it's a banana. They might scream banana, banana, banana, over and over and over again. They might put BANANA in all caps. You might even start to believe that this is a banana. But it's not. This is an apple."
The video then cuts to the logo:
"CNN, very fake news.
Not fake news, WE SWEAR!"
No explanation necessary...
A CNN recruitment advert...
"CNN has become known as the world's leading source of thrilling, news-shaped fiction. Our fabricated stories are created from the idea that people around the world want more, need more, deserve more imagined narratives that reinforce what they already believe at the expense of objective truth."
This next video is another parody. The narrator says....
"This is CNN. Some people might try to tell you that it's news. They might scream news, news, news over and over and over again. They might put NEWS in all caps. You might even start to believe that this is news. But it's not. This is CNN."
The CNN logo then disappears to be replaced by the words 'Fake news'.
One mocking RINO John McCain.
"This is a Democrat. Some people might tell you that it's a Republican. They might scream Republican, Republican, Republican, over and over and over again. They might put REPUBLICAN in all caps. You might start to believe that this is a Republican. But it's not. This is a Democrat. Facts First."
And finally, a tweet which highlights that as well as being fake news, perhaps even more disturbing is the fact that CNN have covered up the Hillary Russia uranium collusion scandal.
Fake news by omission, of which CNN is guilty of with regard to almost every story involving Hillary corruption and Obama corruption, is an even bigger danger from CNN than the regular fake news which they push.
What the original CNN advert highlights is an incredible lack of self-awareness from very fake news CNN. That they failed to anticipate they would be so ruthlessly mocked shows how out of touch they are with the public's ever growing awareness of the constant deception and propaganda pushed by very fake news CNN.
