Trump trolls Comey with the message "I win" hidden in his firing letter.
Before the election, Donald Trump famously said, "We’re going to win, win, win! We’re going to win so much, you’re going to get sick and tired of it! You’re going to say “Mr. President, we can’t take it anymore, we’re winning too much!”"
Whether he realized it or not, President Trump reiterated his winning message via a hidden message in his firing letter to James Comey.
If you take the first letters of each line it produces the phrase, "I win."
I have received the attached letters...
While I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under
investigation, I nevertheless concur with the judgment of the Department of Justice that you are
not able to effectively lead the bureau.
To add to the coincidence, taking the first letter of each line of the final paragraph produces the letters III, which is the Roman numerals for three, and also the number of times that Comey told Trump he was not under investigation.
Comey's firing letter is extremely well written and says exactly what it needs to say, so it's unlikely that this hidden message was intentional. That said, President Trump has shown on numerous occasions that he's a grand master at trolling1, and now it appears he's even a grand master troll when he's not even trying!
In related news, rumors are circulating that Comey might show up to work tomorrow because he couldn't discern intent from his firing letter.
