AP edits article to remove claims of FBI attempts to fabricate Russian links to the DNC leaks.
The Associated Press has edited one of their articles to remove claims by Yevgeniy Nikulin of FBI attempts to fabricate Russian links to the DNC leaks.
The original AP article included mention of claims made by Nikulin that the FBI urged him to falsely testify that he was cooperating in a hacking attack on the Democratic National Committee.
The article has now been heavily edited, with the bulk of the story being deleted, and all mention of Nikulin's claims regarding the FBI have now been removed.
Despite the deletion of such significant material from the original article, no mention is made that the original article has subsequently been heavily edited, and no explanation is given as to why this material was removed.
You can read the AP article as it was originally published at the archived link below:
COURT: RUSSIAN HACKER CAN BE EXTRADITED TO US OR RUSSIA

ALLEGED RUSSIA HACKER APPEALS EXTRADITION TO RUSSIA
As you can see, the original article has been almost entirely deleted and replaced with a report which completely omits mention of Nikulin's claims. Note that the headline has also been amended.
The original article was written by Karel Janicek, although his name has subsequently been removed from the edited version of the article.
Given the significance of Yevgeniy Nikulin's claims, i.e. of an attempt by government officials to create false evidence to support the 'Russia hacking' narrative, it raises a big question mark over why the claims reported in the original AP article have now been removed.
Whatever the reason, attempts to hide information from the public often have the reverse effect, and often cause the unintended consequence of publicizing the information more widely, in an effect known as the Streisand Effect1. This could mean that the removal of Nikulin's claims from the original AP article may ultimately result in far more people becoming aware of the deleted information.
Yevgeniy Nikulin was arrested three days2 before Obama began pushing the 'Russia' narrative, which Craig Murray has called 'bull****'.3
Craig Murray is a close associate of Julian Assange, and has stated, “They are absolutely making it up. I know who leaked them. I’ve met the person who leaked them, and they are certainly not Russian and it’s an insider. It’s a leak, not a hack; the two are different things."3
