Private investigator claims Seth Rich was emailing Wikileaks prior to his murder.
Fox 5 DC last night broke the story that there is evidence murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich had contact with Wikileaks1 prior to his death, according to Rod Wheeler, a private investigator hired by Seth Rich's family.2
Fox 5 DC's Marina Marraco's tweeted regarding Wheeler's claim that Seth Rich was emailing Wikileaks prior to his murder. At the time of writing, her tweet has been retweeted 4,800 times.
Fox 5 DC reported, "(Wheeler) said he believes there is a cover-up and the police department has been told to back down from the investigation."
Wheeler told Fox 5 DC, "I have a source inside the police department that has looked at me straight in the eye and said, ‘Rod, we were told to stand down on this case and I can’t share any information with you.’ Now, that is highly unusual for a murder investigation, especially from a police department. Again, I don’t think it comes from the chief’s office, but I do believe there is a correlation between the mayor's office and the DNC and that is the information that will come out (Tuesday)."
As a reminder, Julian Assange recently tweeted, "FBI source says the FBI will now start leaking like Niagara,"3 and another tweet from Assange said, "Comey's firing will be an extraordinary boon for transparency."4
Shortly after Seth's murder, Wikileaks offered a reward of $20,000 leading to the arrest of Seth Rich's killer.5
At the time of Wikileaks offer, the DC Police had already offered a reward of $25,000 for information leading to the arrest of Seth's killer.6
Republican lobbyist, Jack Burkman of Burkman and Associates also offered a $100,000 reward for information regarding Seth Rich's murder.7
To this day, the DNC have not offered a reward for information leading to the arrest of Seth's killer. Why would this be? Why would Wikileaks and others be keen to seek justice for Seth Rich, while the DNC apparently don't share this desire for justice?
On a similar theme, the left-leaning media have so far failed to report on the claims by Rod Wheeler. Why would that be? Why would left-leaning media outlets be reluctant to report on a story which could potentially help in the search for justice for Seth Rich?
Seth Rich was murdered 12 days before WikiLeaks released the leaked DNC emails.
