Mika Brzezsinksi: "Our job is to control exactly what people think."
The Podesta emails leaked by Wikileaks revealed that Hillary Clinton's campaign team 'conspired to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry'.
Creating an 'unaware and compliant citizenry' requires the media to bury negative stories which don't fit the agenda. It requires the media to indoctrinate the public into following their chosen policy.
In short, it requires the media to control how the public think.
Mika Brzezinski of MSNBC recently made an accidental admission confirming that is exactly how she sees her role. She sees the media's job as being to 'control exactly what people think'.
Here is the clip where she made the revealing and disturbing admission:
Scarborough: "What Yamiche said is what I hear from all the Trump supporters that I talk to who were Trump voters and are still Trump supporters. They go, 'Yeah you guys are going crazy. What are you so surprised about? He is doing exactly what he said he is going to do.'"
Brzezsinski: "Well, I think that the dangerous, you know, edges here are that he is trying to undermine the media. Trying to make up his own facts, and it could be that while unemployment and the economy worsens, he could have undermined the messaging so much that he can actually control exactly what people think. And that, that is our job."
There you have it. She sees her job as 'controlling exactly what people think'.
For the record, Mika, it is not your job to control what people think. Your job is to provide the facts and let people decide for themselves.
