The real Donald Trump.
The agenda-driven leftist media have made it clear that their goal is to hate-bait and use misinformation against President Trump to sow social division.
So to counteract the propaganda, here are a few reminders of the real Donald Trump...
* In 1986 Trump won the Ellis Island Medal of Honor alongside Rosa Parks and Muhammad Ali.1
The Ellis Island Medal of Honors were founded by the National Ethnic Coalition of Organizations and are presented annually to American citizens who 'exemplify the values of the American way of life'.
The awards are given in 'celebration of patriotism, tolerance, brotherhood and diversity. They recognize individuals who have made it their mission to share with those less fortunate their wealth of knowledge, indomitable courage, boundless compassion, unique talents and selfless generosity; all while maintaining the traditions of their ethnic heritage as they uphold the ideals and spirit of America.'
* In 1987 Trump saved an elderly widowed woman's farm from being auctioned/repossessed.
The Failing New York Times reported2:
"Annabel Hill has coped with the suicide of her husband and a debt-laden farm that twice was put up on the auction block for nonpayment of loans. But she calls herself ''blessed.''
Parts of the farm were sold, but even that wasn't enough. Last Sept. 2, the remaining 715 acres were up for auction again.
This time, Donald J. Trump, the New York real-estate developer, halted the sale. He phoned the auction block and assured the creditors that he would help Mrs. Hill.
''It's worked out real, real well,'' she says. ''All 715 acres were saved.''
* In 1991 Donald Trump sent his plane to retrieve 200 stranded marines. The plane made two trips from North Carolina to Miami, Florida to transport over 200 Gulf War Marines back home.
Hannity.com reported3, Corporal Ryan Stickney says he and his family are - to this day - grateful for Trump’s kind gesture. "It may not seem like much to most people, but it was very important to a bunch of jar heads and more importantly their families waiting for them on the hot tarmac."
* Donald Trump sheltered Jennifer Hudson rent-free after her family was murdered. In 2008, People reported4:
"Donald Trump doesn’t just have the golden touch for business – he also has a heart of gold.
The real-estate mogul has been housing Jennifer Hudson and some of her relatives at the Trump International Hotel & Tower free of charge.
“She’s a great girl. And we’re protecting them well,” Trump told People. “They are very safe.”
Hudson has been seeking refuge at the Trump holding since her mother, brother and nephew were murdered in Chicago on Oct. 24."
* More recently, since being elected President Trump has given away his entire presidential salary. During a campaign rally in New Hampshire, President Trump stated, “As far as the salary is concerned, I won't take even one dollar. I am totally giving up my salary if I become president.”
President Trump was true to his word and donated his first quarter salary to the National Park Service, and donated his second quarter salary to the Department of Education.
President Trump becomes the third president in history to forego his salary, joining Herbert Hoover and John F. Kennedy as presidents who gave away their presidential salaries while serving America.
In summary, when President Trump talks of making America great again, he is simply repeating the philosophy he has lived by his entire life.
