Petition for a federal investigation into the Berkeley Police Department.
As previously reported on Red Pilled World, the Berkeley Police Department have come in for deserved heavy criticism in recent months. Incredibly, they now offer 'symbolic arrests'1 for protesters, and yet the violent left-wing Berkeley riots in February against Milo's right to free speech resulted in only one 'real' arrest.2
Given the blatantly political way the Berkley Police Department is being run, it's not surprising that many citizens would like to see the Berkeley police chiefs held accountable for their actions, and a petition calling for an investigation into the Berkeley Police Department has been started on the White House petitions website.
The petition reads:
"This a petition to the White House to order a federal investigation the Berkeley Police Department, and find out who is instructing police to "stand down" as riots break out in front of them, causing dozens to get injured. There is someone higher up who is not fulfilling their obligation to the citizens of Berkeley by refusing to keep them safe from political violence, and this person (or persons) must be held accountable for their negligence and/or abuse of power.
As we saw at the most recent riot, if the state does not intervene and create order, the violence will only increase, and the less citizens can rely on police to protect their rights. This is a recipe for chaos, and should not be permitted in any civilized society."

The Berkeley police chiefs need to be held accountable for their dereliction of duty, and the petition will hopefully draw attention to this. People have already been seriously hurt by violent left-wing rioters3, and if the Berkeley police chiefs continue to prevent rank and file officers from doing their jobs, then a share of the blame for any future injuries will be on their heads.
