Human trafficking should not be a partisan issue.
If someone said:
You would think this would be an uncontroversial statement, wouldn't you?
You'd be wrong.
Donald Trump recently issued the following statement:
"I want to make it clear today that my administration will focus on ending the absolutely horrific practice of human trafficking."
Donald Trump's statement was posted on reddit, and incredibly, it received over 18,000 downvotes1 from anti-Trumpists!
1 Reddit enhancement suite reveals that the post received 50,772 votes and was 64% upvoted. This equates to 32,494 upvotes and 18,278 downvotes.
A comment I've heard a few times on the internet is that Donald Trump could cure cancer and the extreme left would still complain. Unbelievably, we have reached the point where this is actually becoming true.
This is how dangerous the indoctrinated left have become. Donald Trump says he wants to end human trafficking and apparently the extreme left think this is a bad idea. Some democrats have become so poisoned against Donald Trump that they would rather human trafficking continue than see Trump succeed.
What is wrong with these people? Donald Trump wants to end human trafficking, and they think that's bad? They think ending human trafficking is worth a downvote? Seriously, anyone who downvoted the post is a disgusting human being and is absolutely sick in the head.
Thankfully, there were some level-headed democrats who realized that human trafficking should not be a partisan issue, and some comments on the post recognized this. Fortunately, not all democrats have been brainwashed to the point of automatically opposing everything Donald Trump says and does, even when Trump speaks out about something as clear cut as ending human trafficking.
But to those of the brainwashed left who have been indoctrinated so badly that they oppose everything Donald Trump says and does, here's a quick reality check...
If you don't care about victims of human trafficking, then at least care about the damage you are doing to your party. Stop and think about what you are doing. How do you think it is going to affect the public's perception of the democrat party when you take a position against Donald's Trump's efforts to end human trafficking?
Here's another extract from Donald Trump's statement on ending human trafficking:
"It's a very, very terrible problem. It's not talked about enough. People don't know enough about it. And we're going to talk about it, and we're going to bring it out into the open and hopefully we're going to do a great deal to help prevent some of the horrific - really horrific - crimes that are taking place."
Once again, to those who downvoted Trump's statement, is preventing human trafficking really such a controversial position to take?
