If Clinton/Lynch "discussed the grandkids" on the tarmac then why are these FOIA documents so heavily redacted?
Judicial Watch issued a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request seeking documents relating to the meeting on the tarmac between Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch on June 27, 2016. As a reminder, this is the meeting where Clinton/Lynch allegedly "discussed the grandkids".
Judicial Watch recently received a response to their FOIA request and surprisingly, given the allegedly frivolous and insignificant nature of the tarmac discussions, massive chunks of the response have been redacted.
For example, this is page 21 of the response:
This is page 23:
Here's page 26:
And page 27:
And so it goes on:
Remember, these are documents relating to the meeting on the tarmac where Bill Clinton "discussed his grandkids" with Loretta Lynch.
And yet if you read the entire 317 pages of the response, you find that almost all the emails look like the redacted emails above. The response has been so heavily redacted that the FOIA request has effectively been rendered meaningless and pointless. Pretty much the only sections of note which haven't been redacted, are transcripts of Loretta Lynch's press conferences, and transcripts of TV shows discussing the meeting on the tarmac, which were of course already publicly available anyway.
Once again, this is relating to the tarmac meeting where they "discussed the grandkids".
This raises two points:
* If the meeting on the tarmac involved "discussing the grandkids", then unless their grandkids have been taking part in clandestine matters of national security, it does seem surprising that so many emails have been so heavily redacted.
* Given the allegedly frivolous and insignificant nature of the tarmac discussions, it does seem weird that so many government officials would spend so much time and energy analyzing the transcripts of Loretta Lynch's press conferences regarding the meeting on the tarmac.

Loretta Lynch does not have grandkids to be discussing them.
