Thomas Wictor: "When Obama became the nominee, it took me exactly an hour of online research to determine what kind of president he'd be."
Here's a twitter thread from Thomas Wictor which outlines Obama's rise to president, and the corrupt methods he used to fool the American people.
"When Obama became the nominee, it took me exactly an hour of online research to determine what kind of president he'd be.
Obama was an Illinois state senator from 1997 to 2004, and then one of two Illinois US Senators from 2005 to 2008. Obama's two senatorial careers were identical:
One, he voted present as often as possible. And two, he supported legislation that enriched his donors. I knew he would be an incompetent, corrupt president.
When Obama won his FIRST Illinois Senate election, he ran unopposed. How? The Obama campaign challenged every single signature on Senator Alice Palmer's nominating petitions. Signatures were voided if the first letter of the name wasn't capitalized or an "i" was not dotted.
This has never been done in the history of Illinois. Two-thirds of Palmer's signatures were invalidated, so she was 200 short. She had to withdraw from the race. Obama was therefore handed the Democratic nomination. In the actual election, Obama got 82 percent of the vote.
He was a garden-variety Chicago machine politician, dirty as hell. I always marveled that people actually thought he'd follow through on any of his grandiose promises. He record was clear. He was an irresolute, incompetent crook with a pathological need to impose race-based Marxism on the country.
There was never any doubt that he'd be a horrible president."
A New York Times article from 2007 supports Wictor's claim that Obama was corrupt. Here's a sample quote from the article:
“Less than two months after ascending to the United States Senate, Barack Obama bought more than $50,000 worth of stock in two speculative companies which had as major investors some of his biggest political donors. One of the companies was a biotech concern that was starting to develop a drug to treat avian flu. In March 2005, two weeks after buying about $5,000 of its shares, Mr. Obama took the lead in a legislative push for more federal spending to battle the disease.”
The article also states that Obama "bought more than $50,000 in stock in a satellite communications business whose principal backers include four friends and donors who had raised more than $150,000 for his political committees."
According to an article published by The Hill, Obama apparently had something to hide, because he destroyed documents from his days as an Illinois State Senator, leaving no paper trail of his work there. When questioned about it by the press, Obama couldn’t get his story straight.
